Field-level trust
Different facts on the same profile can have different states. A medical registration may be verified while a newly submitted qualification is still under review. A profile can therefore remain useful without pretending every field has the same certainty.
What may be recorded
Important facts can carry source type, source record, verification status, confidence, last checked date, expiry/recheck date and change history. DoctorProfiler can also distinguish doctor-provided information from source-supported or independently reviewed information.
What verification does not mean
Verification is not a clinical recommendation, ranking, guarantee of treatment outcome, guarantee that a doctor is suitable for a particular patient, or endorsement by DoctorProfiler or Budgetix LLP.
Corrections and disputes
Doctors and members of the public can report incorrect information. Protected changes and conflicting records may require review, evidence or source reconciliation before the public profile changes.
